Frequently Asked Questions:
-
What’s your teaching style like?
Our classes are gentle and playful and designed around each child’s unique pace and interests. I guide them step-by-step while encouraging creative freedom, confidence, and joy in making art.
-
Do kids need any experience to join?
Not at all! We welcome beginners as young as age 4. Every project is age-appropriate and adapted based on your child’s experience and favorite medium.
-
What kinds of projects do they do?
We focus on painting (acrylic, watercolor, mixed media), but also explore sculpture with air-dry clay, creative crafts, drawing, and seasonal themes.
-
Where are the classes and camps held?
All sessions are hosted in my home studio in the 3Roots community (Mira Mesa). Depending on the weather and activity, we work either indoors or outside in the shaded backyard space.
-
Do the kids bring snacks or lunch?
Yes! For longer camp days, kids bring their own lunch/snacks and we enjoy meals together picnic-style. It’s relaxed and social — a great chance to bond.
-
Can I register for just one day of camp?
Yes! You’re welcome to sign up for individual days or the full week at a discounted rate.
-
How do you group kids by age or skill?
We often have mixed ages, but I guide each child according to their individual skill level and interest — whether that’s exploring color, technique, or a specific medium they love.
-
What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We understand plans can shift. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or transfer your session credit.
