ILOCK

The idea of Ilock came from designing an electronic key to substitute for the general keys which are available everywhere. This product was planned to design for the users who work as a manager or security in the communities, super stores, malls or airports. Those users need to open and close many doors, security boxes and locks and in order do that, they usually carry several keys with themselves. Carrying too many keys is difficult because of their weights and also it increases the chance of mistakes by the operators and caused safety issues.

Beginning

This was the rough model which was created and the plan was redesigning the model and adding some features in to it.

I tried to examine different type of gripping and sketch the ideas. I also tested the different gripping ideas with some handy modeling.
